HVAC companies: shops, brands and dealers

We have more than one shop, brand or dealer program. How does Digilu handle that?

Three HVAC shops in a row with rooftop units and roll-up bays, a map pin over each, the third pin in coral drifted aside and being set back over its shop.

Digilu manages each business that carries its own name, keeps every shop and listing under that name telling the same story, and says plainly when what you run is bigger than one membership.

Month-to-month. No mandatory sales call. You own your website, content, data, and accounts.

One membership covers one business and one primary website.

That line settles most cases:

  • One company, one website, trucks running to many towns from one shop: one membership.
  • One company and one website with a second staffed shop in the next county: normally still one business. If you are unsure which side of the line you sit on, ask through the custom engagement form before buying; asking costs nothing.
  • Two brands with two websites, say a heating and air company plus a plumbing company you bought last year: two businesses, so two memberships or one custom engagement, whichever fits the work.
  • A group of companies, a roll-up or a rebrand across several names: a custom engagement, scoped with no payment.

Several shops, one story

The usual trouble in a multi-shop HVAC company is not one bad listing. It is five slightly different ones. One shop's profile says open around the clock, another says closed Sundays, a third still shows the number from before the move. A homeowner sees whichever is nearest and cannot tell that the others are right.

  • Each staffed shop that serves customers can have its own Google Business Profile under Google's rules. A mailbox, a storage unit or a shared desk cannot, and we will not create profiles for them.
  • Names, phone numbers, hours and service areas kept consistent shop by shop, with the website's location pages matching the profiles.
  • Reviews requested and answered for the shop that did the job.

Dealer programs and manufacturer locators

If you hold a manufacturer's dealer status with Carrier, Trane, Lennox or another brand, their dealer locator is often the first stop for a homeowner loyal to that brand. We do not run those locators and we never touch the program itself.

What we do: check that the locator shows the same name, number and address as your site and profiles, prepare the correction request when it drifts, and make sure your own pages describe the status exactly as the manufacturer grants it, never a tier you do not hold.

A second brand is a second reputation

When one owner runs two names, homeowners judge each on its own reviews and its own record. We keep them apart where they should be apart, so a plumbing review never lands on the heating and air profile, and connect them where the link is real and useful to a customer.

Start at $900 or $400.

Adaptive Brand Management is the level for most heating and air companies, because it carries the Google profile, the reviews and the follow-up after the job.

Trust Foundation keeps the website and the foundation current, for a company where someone in the office already owns the profile and reviews.

Each membership covers one business and one primary website. Month-to-month, cancel any month, and you own your domain, website, content and data throughout.
