Heating: in season

It is cold and the no-heat calls are stacking up. What can Digilu fix right now?

A house opened up on a cold night with its furnace panel off and the burner dark, an HVAC van at the curb, and a phone ringing over the next house down the street.

In heating season Digilu is responsible for one narrow thing first: a homeowner with a cold house can tell in a few seconds that your company repairs furnaces, is open tonight and comes to their town. That can be put right this week, and it needs almost nothing from you.

Month-to-month. No mandatory sales call. You own your website, content, data, and accounts.

A house opened up on a cold night with its furnace panel off and the burner dark, an HVAC van at the curb, and a phone ringing over the next house down the street.

A no-heat call is decided faster than any other call you get.

Nobody shops around with a cold house and children in it. The homeowner looks at two or three names and calls the first one that plainly does heating and plainly answers at night. If your profile still leads with air conditioning and your hours say you closed at five, you were never in that short list, however good the technician is.

You will not have time to deal with that in January, so we do. Checkout starts the membership with no sales call, and what we need from you arrives as one request at a time in your Client Observatory.

What goes in during the season

  • Night, weekend and holiday hours for heating calls made the same on the website and the Google profile, and the after-hours number checked by calling it.
  • The words furnace repair and heat pump repair placed where a homeowner sees them first, if that is work you are taking this winter.
  • A short answer to the question asked most on a cold night: whether someone can come tonight, and what a visit costs to start, once you have approved the figure.
  • Your own safety wording for a gas smell or a carbon monoxide alarm, published exactly as you approve it.
  • Review requests after finished heating repairs, so the reviews a homeowner reads this month are about heat.

What is held for spring

Rewriting the heating pages properly, deciding whether to push heat pump replacements, and going through the directories one by one are all better done when the phones are quiet. They are on the list from the first day and they start as soon as the calls ease, which is also when the air conditioning preparation begins.

What it will not do this month

It will not produce calls by Friday. Corrected hours and a clear heating line help the next person who looks you up, and reviews about heat build over weeks. Leads are not something we sell, and neither level includes paid ads. If the crews are already at capacity, the gain this winter is fewer missed calls after dark, and the larger gain is next winter.

Cooling waits its turn

This page says nothing about air conditioning on purpose. A company that tries to be found for both at once, on one page, in the same month, usually ends up clear about neither. Heating has the winter, cooling has the summer, and each has its own page for the months before.
