The advantage
always moves.

Mike Millett
  • $1B+for California fire victims, through the platform he built
  • #1×4Entrepreneur’s Fastest-Growing Franchise, 2023 to 2026, at Stratus
  • 3.4→4.7Google rating across a national franchise system

The advantage keeps moving.

Customers now ask an AI system and get a few names instead of a page of ten.

Search, reviews, social and AI answers all changed inside the same few years. Each change took something companies were paying for and made it ordinary. The website everyone has. The ads everyone runs. The content everyone publishes.

What is left is judgment: knowing which of those still decides whether a business is chosen, and which is now just cost.

Five vendors. Nobody steering.

Most growing companies do not have a marketing shortage. They have agencies, staff, software, meetings and reports. Each one answers for its own channel. None of them answers for whether the business is chosen.

  • The agencies report activity, and nobody inside can say whether it mattered.
  • The budget follows last year, because nobody is positioned to move it.
  • The team waits on decisions that the owner does not have time to make.
  • The owner is the head of marketing by default, on top of running the company.

More activity does not fix that. It adds a sixth report.

One person answerable for the whole thing.

In a Fractional CMO engagement, Mike Millett leads the marketing function. He sets direction, decides what comes first, judges where the budget goes, aligns the internal team, manages the agencies, and answers to the owner or the board for the result.

It is leadership, not a larger task list. Execution stays with your team, your agencies or Digilu, and is scoped separately.

01

A conversation

Digilu learns how the company wins work, who is doing what, and where decisions stall. Not every company is a fit, and Digilu says so.

02

A written scope

Responsibilities, decision rights, who reports to whom, and the cadence. Quoted individually.

Mike leads

Priorities are set, the team and the agencies are pointed at them, and somebody is accountable every month.
